The derby was crazy. The old guy running the show was an onry old fart. He kept yelling at parents and kids to be quiet. Yeah, like you can keep kids quiet at something like that. Austin did fairly well since most of the kids' dads did their cars. He was sad at first for not having the fastest but then when he realized he did his by himself (mostly) he became rather proud. I think he did a great job. Took 12th out of 45. Not too bad for his first time trying...ours too. PS he is trying to look "cool" in the photo holding his masterpiece.

Good job Austin, your car looks great. I loved making cars for the derby. I enjoyed making them and painting them more than I did racing them.
